Starting November, every Tuesday I'll write and post informative blogs on the health condition that causes me to experience severe mental illness symptoms. On Wednesdays, I'll post My Journey information, in which I'll take readers on my now 9 and 1/2 years journey as I put all of the pieces together. Fifteen so-called healthcare professionals and I'm the one who finally found my diagnosis via ongoing research. Our healthcare system is broken!

My story started in March of 2017. At the age of 51, I was hit hard with multiple mental illness symptoms, affecting me 24/7. I had no idea what was happening. I was lost. I could no longer think clearly. I was losing myself. I cried, sobbed, begged for answers. I couldn't take it anymore. I've now seen 15 healthcare providers. Only one has shown empathy. Our healthcare system is broken! God created a new path for me - to help people who are living with mental illness. I started a people-powered movement to Stop the Stigma! and look forward to starting this new journey.

I wrote My Story in 2024, during my grad-school phenomenology course. I was still dealing with extreme brain fog, more. This was my first relay of me telling my story.
